Student Stories Bumby Spotlight: Santosha

Student Stories Bumby Spotlight: Santosha

United States of America | Learner & Student

A Note from Stephanie

There’s something really special about watching someone take what they’ve been learning and realize, I can actually use this.

Santosha came to Bumby through a Riipen project with experience spanning project management, business analysis, CRM, AI-supported workflows, and technical training. But what I especially appreciated was the care she brought to the work.

Small businesses are fantastic learning environments because the problems are real, the pieces overlap, and there usually isn’t a neat textbook answer waiting at the end. Santosha embraced that. She brought her skills into a real business setting, asked how they could be useful, and gained confidence along the way.

Being able to give learners a place to test their skills while also bringing fresh perspectives into Bumby is exactly why I love participating in these projects.

Who is Santosha?

My name is Santosha Inguva. I am a Calbright alumna with a background in project management, business analysis, CRM, AI-supported workflows, and technical training.

I enjoy learning, solving practical problems, and helping organizations turn ideas into useful deliverables.

What matters most to me is doing work with care, communicating clearly, and contributing to projects that support people, small businesses, and communities in a meaningful way.

Santosha's Bumby Story

I connected with Bumby Wool through a Riipen project, where I participated as a student project contributor.

Through the project, I had the opportunity to learn about the business, understand its project needs, and contribute my skills in research, organization, communication, and project-based work.

It was a meaningful experience because it allowed me to apply what I was learning in a real client-facing setting and better understand how small businesses communicate their mission, products, and value to customers.

What She'd Love to Highlight

I’d love to highlight the opportunity to support a real business while continuing to build my project management, business analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills.

This experience helped me grow professionally and gave me more confidence in taking what I had learned in the classroom and applying it to practical business needs.

Being able to contribute while learning made the experience especially valuable to me.

What She Loves Most About Bumby

What I appreciate most about Bumby Wool is the sense of purpose behind the brand.

It feels thoughtful, creative, and community-oriented. I admire businesses that are built with care — not only around their products, but also around their values, storytelling, and connection with customers.

Being part of the project gave me the opportunity to see that kind of mission-driven small business work more closely.
