Bring your wool back to life, between washes

This lanolin-rich spray is a simple, effective way to nourish, soften, and refresh your wool without needing a full wash cycle.

We didn’t invent lanolin spray, but we’ve created a version we truly stand behind. One that’s easy to use, thoughtfully made, and designed to support how wool is actually worn in real life.

Heavily enriched with pure pharmaceutical-grade lanolin, this spray helps restore moisture to dry fibers while improving performance and comfort at the same time.

A quick mist is all it takes.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Adds lanolin back into wool between washes
  • Helps improve water resistance
  • Softens fibers for a more comfortable feel
  • Supports natural odor resistance
  • Conditions both wool and the skin beneath

Where It Works Best

This is one of those products you’ll start using everywhere:

  • Cloth diaper covers needing a lanolin boost
  • Inside the legs of wool pants for softness and protection
  • Wool slippers that need refreshing
  • Winter gear like mitts and suits
  • Sports wool that gets a little too loved
  • Itchy coats or dry garments
  • Even older wool pieces like rugs

A light spray can make a noticeable difference in how your wool feels and performs.

How It’s Made

This spray follows the same core principles as our emulsified lanolin blends. A stable, gentle emulsion that evenly distributes lanolin without leaving heavy buildup.

Made in our shop using:

  • Distilled water
  • Super deodorized pharmaceutical-grade lanolin (Belgium sourced)
  • Coconut-based emollients to stabilize the blend
  • Grapefruit seed extract and a small amount of alcohol for shelf stability

Customers praised this wool care product for quick touch-ups between washes, making wool soft and water-resistant. "Love love love this stuff" and "amazing for quick lano sprays" were common sentiments. It effectively restores softness to scratchy wool and adds water resistance. Main concern: spray bottle quality is poor.

  • Love love love this stuff. It's amazing for quick lano sprays inbetween washes.
  • Lanolin right where I want it, in seconds.
  • The wool lining is now soft and pliable but still breathes like it should.

This is a great product for my purpose which is to make my wool hats (cowboy, fedora) more water/rain resistant. Although water beads a little, hats still get wet but not soaked through. And there were no color changes to any of my brown/lighter color hats. My biggest complaint is that the spray bottle it comes in is not a quality sprayer, but rather "spits out" some large drops which needed to be rubbed in and spread around. Make sure you use a very smooth cotton, silk, or wool cloth as anything rougher (like terry cloth) will pill-roll the nap of the wool which is damaging to the hat's finish. I will look to get a better spray bottle so a more even application can be done and minimize how much rubbing in I had to do to spread the thick drops around. However, if you're simply using this to spray parts of the body, should be fine.

Great product! I looking for something that would be a quick solution for the wool lining on a vintage parka I have. After having it dry cleaned the wool lining was scratchy. I did some research and found Bumby Wool! I decided to try the spray and it is the perfect fix for my situation! The wool lining is now soft and pliable but still breathes like it should. I have some other projects I plan on using the spray for but, I need to order some more first! Thank you for such a quality product!
