There is a huge difference between finding information and making it useful — and Tiara understands that difference.

She joined us while we were working through U.S. regulatory compliance, labeling, tariffs, imports, and all the other wonderfully exciting things that come with expanding into another country. 😂 There was a lot of information to sort through.

Who is Tiara?

I currently work in workforce development and career services, where I help individuals connect with employment opportunities, education, and resources for long-term career planning.

I'm also continuing my education in Human Resources Management and have developed a strong interest in project management, compliance research, and organizational operations.

What matters most to me is creating meaningful work that helps people, supports growth, and contributes to long-term success for businesses and communities.

Tiara's Bumby Story

I became connected to Bumby Wool through a university project focused on regulatory compliance and labeling requirements for expansion into the U.S. market.

During the project, I developed a comprehensive Regulatory Research Summary examining textile labeling laws, cosmetic and personal care regulations, import considerations, tariff classifications, and potential compliance risks relevant to Bumby's products and operations.

The experience gave me the opportunity to take complex regulatory information and organize it into research that could support practical business decisions and future market expansion.

I'd love to highlight the amount of research, organization, and collaboration involved in supporting the project's compliance planning efforts.

It was rewarding to contribute work that could help support a smoother expansion into U.S. retail markets while simplifying complex regulatory information into something practical and actionable for the business.

What I appreciate most about Bumby Wool is the company's focus on quality, sustainability, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
