Let's talk about the wool

We use two different wool blends because each has a different job.

Inner gusset: 90% Wool / 10% Nylon

The layer closest to your body is an incredibly soft superwash wool blend, selected for comfort and durability.

The 10% nylon adds strength to help the fabric withstand repeated wear, washing, and the demands of everyday intimate use.

Soft, comfortable, and designed to feel wonderful against your skin.

Protective center panel: 95% Merino Wool / 5% Lycra

Our lightly lanolized, felted merino wool jersey forms the protective center panel.

The wool provides natural moisture-management properties, while the Lycra adds stretch, recovery, and durability.

Light lanolization helps the wool resist moisture, adding another layer of protection between you and your clothing.

The result? Two complementary wool fabrics working together for comfort, flexibility, and reusable protection.

A pocket with possibilities

The double-layer gusset is designed to work with your needs.

Wear it on its own: Enjoy the softness of wool with an additional layer for everyday moisture management.

Add an insert: Slip a compatible absorbent pad into the gusset pocket when you need extra capacity.

Change your protection, not your underwear: Choose the absorbency that suits your day.

Absorbent pads are sold separately. The wool gusset itself is not intended to replace a high-absorbency pad for heavier flow or bladder leakage.
