IMPORTANT NOTES:

This is a stand alone item which can be used with any of our cardigan sweaters.
If purchasing by itself, you will need to tell us how tall and bottom band as well as neck heights.

AND

If you are ordering with a sweater we will aim to match that torso length
Bottom bands can be 2″ or 4″ to match the sweater
Top cuff will only be 2″ which matched the standard collar
The tall collars are 4″
If we make the top cuff 4″ will be too heavy on the top
So a 2″ cuff will be made and it will sit slightly lower, but also look intentional as shown

12″ wide with different length options. With gentle cuffs on top and bottom to flow under baby’s bum or mama’s belly. Easy access with one had zipper action.

Standard YKK #5 Nylon Coil Jacket Zipper which is compatible with many other zippers out there as it is fairly standard.

Upgrade to a 2way zipper here… but you need to get the sweater as well with the upgrade.

The customer service from Stephanie and the Bumby team is unbelievable. I’m told that this is a newer product; mine wound up maybe half an inch shorter than what I selected, and they were prepared to completely start over to get me what I wanted (luckily I just chose a random length that seemed like it would fit some coats I already owned, so they didn’t have to!) I ordered the zip-in panel on its own, as I was hopeful that I would fit some coats I already owned. I own about 5, and it would up fitting 2 of them; it also fits 2 of the 3 sweaters my husband owns so we’re all set! The new zipper is sticky, so at first I thought it was a no go, until my husband (who’s a bit more of a sewer than me) showed that it can indeed be zipped up even if the teeth are sewn to the sweater backing the opposite way of the babywearing panel (if that makes sense?) The only improvement I can think of would be to maybe use a double zipper; the panel works with one of my favourite wool vests, but only if I turn it inside out so that we don’t have two zipper mechanisms on the same side. I just wear a jacket over top, and no one’s the wiser ;P My baby’s never been cozier in his carrier, and we finally have a babywearing panel that stays in place! It works much better than another brand we have that slides on and uses clips.
