Who We Are

Bumby Wool is a Canadian maker of fine merino wool baby and children's products, handcrafted soap, and wool care products. We've been doing this for nearly two decades out of our Red Deer, Alberta studio — designing, sourcing, and constructing everything in-house, from the fabric we commission to the finished piece sewn at our worktable.

We are not a wholesaler who sells to everyone. We are a maker who chooses our partners carefully, because the trust we've built with our customers over 18 years is worth protecting.

What We Make

Wool diaper covers and diapering accessories. Baby, kids, and adult merino wool clothing. Handcrafted soap and wool care products. Custom and branded options for corporate gifting and curated retail programs.

Everything is made to order. No overproduction. No leftover inventory risk for you or for us.

The Basics

  • Lead time: 2–6 weeks depending on order size and any custom requests.
  • Minimum order: Flexible — we work with you to build something that makes sense for your shop, from a sample introduction up to a full opening order. This is a wholesale relationship, not a personal use discount.
  • Where to order: Directly with Steph, or through Faire for net terms and free returns on your opening order.
  • Shipping withing Canada or to the US: We are CUSMA-certified. Your customers pay no surprise duties or import fees.

Who We Don't Work With


If your growth strategy is primarily volume and margin for investors or a board, we're probably not the right fit. We don't sell to big box retailers or online marketplaces. We won't undercut you on our own site. You are not competing with us — you're part of how we grow, and we take that seriously.
