Through the valuable connections and resources gained by participating in the Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) through Economic Development Calgary. We were nominated and won the Beyond YYC Innovation Award
Through innovation we created a digital and cloud-based technology which we independantly integrated with our website linked to paperless patterns to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
We digitally drafted our clothing patterns. Each item is linked to the website and through API and webhooks we are able to access the correct item to be made. Reducing errors and streamlining our production
Every year the citizens of Red Deer vote for their favorate local companies. In 2021 Bumby Wool won Platnium for the Best Fabric, Wool & Yarn in Red Deer. We were up against 2 well known national brands and feel honoured to have won this year’s award.
We won Platnium again for best Fabric, Wool & Yarn again in 2022 along with Platnium for Best Men’s Clothing and Gold for Best Women’s Clothing
The 2023 nominations are in and Bumby Wool has been put up for 4 categories this year. We look forward to seeing how we place. Thank you Red Deer
