Many of you may already know this but wool is naturally flame retardant.  Which makes it a wonderful garment for sleepwear and bedding.  Bumby Wool has always been naturally flame resistent and safe for sleepwear, but now we are compliantly tested to fulfil the rules to say it officially.   No extra chemicals were added to make the wool flame retardant.  Below you will find the required testing information for compliance and samples simulating the testing to show how the wool does not only not exceed the minimum requirements, but doesn’t even ignite.  Sharing because science is fun.
