The Traditional is Bumby's bestseller, and for good reason. For close to twenty years it has been the cover parents come back to — reliable, durable, and thoughtfully designed to do exactly what a wool cover should do.

Built in a familiar underwear-inspired shape but engineered to fit comfortably over a full cloth diaper, it's our most streamlined option. Not bulkfree — no wool cover is — but the least bulky in the Bumby lineup, making it the go-to when a trim, low-profile fit under clothing matters most.

No closures, no hardware. Just a clean pull-on fit in our heavyweight wool blend — 95% wool, 5% lycra — with enough stretch for a comfortable fit and enough recovery to hold its shape wear after wear.

Every cover ships pre-lanolized and ready to use.

Machine Wash in cold with enzyme free detergent and lanolize after washing, and lay flat to dry. Arrives pre-lanolized and ready to use straight out of the package.
